10G EPON

The VCHUNG’s 10G EPON optical module is designed for 10G Ethernet Passive Optical Network. It complies with the IEEE 802.3av standard. It has two operation modes: symmetric, with a 10Gbps data rate in both directions, and asymmetric, with 10Gbps downstream and 1Gbps upstream. It uses time – division multiple access in a point – to – multipoint network with passive fiber – optic splitters. This module can transmit data over long distances through single – mode fiber, enabling high – speed broadband access for users and playing a key role in upgrading access networks.
