The VCHUNG’s 40G – QSFP + BiDi optical module is a high – speed networking device. It uses the QSFP + form factor and BiDi (Bidirectional) technology3. It has two bidirectional channels with a transmission rate of 20Gbps per channel3. The working wavelengths are usually 850nm and 900nm3. It adopts WDM technology to transmit different wavelength optical signals bidirectionally on a single fiber3. With a duplex LC interface, it can achieve a transmission distance of 100m with OM3 fiber and 150m with OM4 fiber4. It’s ideal for 10G – to – 40G network upgrades, reducing cabling costs.
