800G QSFP-DD DAC enables high-bandwidth 800G links and supports 800G Ethernet rate. The QSFP-DD800 (Double Density) passive Direct Attach Copper cable contains 16 high-speed copper pairs, features 8 transmitting and 8 receiving 100Gbps PAM4 channels. It is suitable for very short range and high speed interconnections and offer a cost-effective and power-efficient way to establish a 800-Gigabit link between QSFP-DD 800G ports of switches/routers within racks and across adjacent racks. They enable higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.
