Brief Introduction
8fibers single-mode MPO-LC fan-out patch-cord usually used for 40G QSFP+ module to 4x10G SFP module, generally use 12 fibers MPO connector on both sides of the four channels for Receive and Transmit signal, that is four channels for Receive signal and other four channels for transmit signal. MPO connector and duplex LC connector are respectively connected with the 40G QSFP+ module and 10G SFP module. Also, 12fibers, 24fibers is available. For the LC Uniboot connector, there are two fibers in a loose tube(2.0mm) . A 2.0mm loose tube instead of 2.0mm duplex loose tube. There are two LC connectors have only one Boot. This page product of LC connector is duplex connector, one connectoer one BOOT.

![]() | About MPO Connector The MPO connectors used are in accordance with the standard IEC 61754-7 and IEC 61754-10, using the international well-known brand connectors. Sufficient SGS report and reliability test report. |
About MPO Insertion Loss All MPO fiber patch cord have been 100% double-wavelength tested, ensuring insertion loss of less than 0.35db, typical value is 0.20db, and return loss must be more than 25dB. Also, there is a standard loss(IL≤0.70db)connector for customers to choose. | ![]() |

How to choose fiber? What is the difference about Several type multimode fiber?
- The ISO/IEC 11801 standard specifies categories OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and OM5.
- The TIA/EIA also recognizes OM1 through OM5. The TIA/EIA ratified OM5 in June 2017 (TIA-492AAAE).
- The IEEE ratified OM4 (802.ba) in June 2010 and updated the standard in 2012 to incorporate higher speeds. The forthcoming IEEE 802.3-2018 standard will include OM5.

For the LC connector, there are several types for customers to choose.
The MPO-LC breakout cable acts as a bridge for 40G to 10G connections. The 40G QSFP+ optical transceiver is directly connected to the MPO connector, and the 10G SFP optical transceiver is connected to the duplex LC connector.

Before produce, it is necessary to confirm whether MPO connector is male or female.
Female, without guide PINS Male, with guide PINS
How to confirm the MPO connector what you need is male or female?
Type1: Connection between MPO and MPO Connection between two MPO connectors, which must be one MPO connector is Female and another one must be Male. | ![]() |
![]() | Type2: Connection between MPO and optical module You know, All optical modules are self-contained with Guide PIN, it means male MPO connector inside, so when connection between MPO cable and optical module, the MPO connector on cable must be the female connector. |
How to realize high density MPO cabling system?
We produce high quality MPO cable which is widely used in high density cabling systems. In addition to MPO Cable, we also provide MPO Cassette and 19′ rack in line with customer needs, for complete the MPO cabling solution.
