Brief Introduction
Vchung’s 10Gbps X2 Transceiver is a highly integrated, serial optical transponder module for high-speed,10Gbit/s data transmission applications,4*3.125Gbps Ethernet Signal Input by XAUI Interface. The module is fully compliant to IEEE 802.3ae. standard for Ethernet,making it ideally suited for 10GbE datacom (rack to-rack,client interconnection) applications. Designed for distances of up to 10km, the transponder module comprises a transmitter with a directly modulated uncooled 1310nm DFB laser,a receiver with a PIN photodiode,a XAUI-Attachment Interface, an integrated Coder /Decoder and multiplexer / de-multiplexer (SERDES: Serializer/Deserializer).
The X2 transceiver module provides 10-Gigabit connectivity up to 10km on single mode fiber (SMF) for data center, enterprise wiring closet and service provider transport applications. It fully complies with the X2 Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used with any MSA compliant equipment. The X2 transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
