Brief Introduction
The VC-CFP-100G-ER4 is designed for 4x25G OTN client interfaces and 100G Ethernet links over single mode fiber. The compatible CFP-100G-ER4 conforms to CFP MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ER4, and OTU4 4I1-9D1F, and supports digital diagnostics through the MDIO interface. It converts the 4 input channel into a 4-channel LAN WDM optical signal, then it is multiplexed as a single-channel to realize 100Gb/s optical transmission. At the receiver side, the module converts the 100Gb/s optical input into a 4-channel LAN WDM optical signal and transforms it into a 4-channel electrical data output channel.
