Brief Introduction

The VC-CFP2-100G-ER4 is designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links over 40km of single-mode fiber and complies with the CFP MSA CFP2 Hardware Specification and IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ER4 standards. It supports 4x 25 Gbit/s lanes. Digital diagnostics are available via MDIO, as specified in the CFP MSA Management Interface Specification.It offers 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data center networking, enterprise core aggregation, and service provider transport applications.

Single fiber bidirectional is used to send and receive signals in one fiber, and dual fiber unidirectional optical transceivers are used to one fiber to send signals and other fiber to receive signals.
