The Serial Gigabit Media-Independent Interface or SGMII is a version of MII, and it’s used for Gigabit Ethernet. VCHUNG copper transceiver modules are designed for a 100BASE-FX Ethernet physical layer via optical fiber with a built-in PHY chip.
The host can access the info using the 2-wire CMOS EEPROM. Our products adhere to MSA (multi-source agreement), which defines the operating characteristics of these devices. Our SFP copper transceivers work as an interface between equipment and interconnecting fiber cables.
