Brief Introduction
The Vchung 400G QSFP-DD DR4+ Module supports link lengths of up to 2km parallel SMF with MTP/MPO-12 connector. It is compliant to IEEE 802.3bs protocol and 400GAUI-8 standards. The 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over four parallel lanes by one wavelength per lane. It can be used as 4x 100G breakout to QSFP-FR-100G.The module converts 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data to 4 channels of CWDMopticalsignals, and multiplexes them into a single channel for 400Gb/s optical transmission. Reversely, on the receiver side, themoduleoptically de-multiplexes a 400Gb/s optical input into 4 channels of CWDM optical signals, and converts themto 8 channels of 50Gb/s(PAM4) electrical output data. The central wavelengths of the 4 CWDM channels are 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm as members of the CWDMwavelengthgriddefinedin ITU-T G.694.2. It contains a duplex LC connector for the optical interface and a 76-pin connector for the electrical interface. Tominimize the optical dispersion in the long-haul system, single-mode fiber (SMF) has to be applied in this module. Host FECisrequiredto support up to 2km fiber transmission.
