10G XFP
XFP transceivers or 10-gigabit small form-factor pluggable are the first 10G modules that appeared on the market, and they are still widely used. Typically, XFPs operate at near-infrared wavelengths of 850nm, 1310nm, or 1550nm. These modules are hot-swappable and protocol-independent.
VCHUNG designs transceivers used for 10-gigabit Ethernet, SONET, 10Gbit/s Fibre Channels, STM-64, OTN, and many more. XFPs also include digital diagnostics added to the SFF-8472 standard. To achieve higher density, XFPs use an LC connector type.
