25G SFP28 BIDI

BIDI transceivers use WDM and are compliant with SFP (MSA). They are designed for high performance, and they are considered the new Ethernet standard. VCHUNG offers SFP28, which is a 25Gbit/s interface. Usually, it is implemented with four by 25Gbit/s data lanes. As a result, it allows for 100 Gigabit transfer.

It is also possible to use two channels to achieve 50G transmission, which will reduce losses compared to QSFP+.
