Brief Introduction
The MPO type fixed/variable attenuator is a Male to Female multi-fiber attenuator. It features an MPO connector on one end and an MPO adapter on the other, enabling direct plug-and-play integration between patch cords and equipment. Precision micro-optics are integrated into the ferrules to provide accurate attenuation. By turning the thumb wheel or using different attenuation values, the signal power can be precisely reduced. Inserting this attenuator into an optical link protects sensitive components from damage caused by excessive optical power.
