10G X2 XENPAK

The VCHUNG’s 10G X2 and XENPAK are 10Gbps – capable optical modules. X2, evolved from XENPAK, is smaller, enabling high – density installations. It has xaui and SFI – 4 circuit interfaces, suitable for 10G Ethernet, OC – 192 SDH, and 10GFC. XENPAK, the first 10G Ethernet – oriented module, supports IEEE 802.3ae optical interfaces. Packed in a 4.8×1.4×0.7 – inch space, it can transmit up to 10 km on G.652 single – mode fiber, mainly used in metro – area networks.
